Having a friendly, photogenic smile can help to improve your self-esteem, confidence, and overall appearance. If you're afraid to smile because of crooked teeth, Invisalign® can help.
Invisalign has revolutionised the field of orthodontics, allowing patients to straighten their teeth without the need for traditional braces. If you're looking for a more comfortable and flexible alternative to metal braces, Invisalign could be the solution for you.
What is Invisalign®?
Invisalign has revolutionised orthodontics, allowing patients to straighten their teeth without traditional metal braces. Using a series of custom-made clear aligners, Invisalign gently shifts your teeth into their desired position — discreetly, comfortably, and at your own pace.
Each set of aligners is created using advanced 3D computer imaging, allowing your dentist to plan the precise movement of your teeth for optimal results. Every few weeks you'll receive a new set of aligners that correspond with the progressive movement of your teeth, ensuring continuous progress throughout treatment.

Invisalign® in 3 simple steps
Step 1: Consultation
Our experienced dentists will take the time to understand your smile goals and carefully assess how you smile, speak and bite to determine whether Invisalign is right for you. Together, we'll create a personalised treatment plan designed exclusively around your needs.
Step 2: 3D Scanning & Imaging
Once confirmed as a suitable candidate, your dentist will conduct detailed 3D scans of your teeth using an iTero digital scanner. These scans are used to design your custom aligners and generate a preview of your predicted result, giving you the opportunity to suggest any changes before treatment begins.
Step 3: Wearing Your Aligners
Once your aligners are ready, treatment begins. Your dentist may place small tooth-coloured attachments on certain teeth to assist with movement, these are easily removed once treatment is complete. In some cases, a small amount of space may need to be created between teeth through a painless process called interproximal reduction (IPR).
You'll wear your aligners for at least 22 hours per day and attend regular check-ups every 6–8 weeks so we can monitor your progress. Treatment typically lasts between 12 and 18 months, depending on your individual case.
Once your teeth reach their final position, you'll transition to a retainer to keep them in place.

We believe cost should never be a barrier to the care you need. Invisalign treatment at Dental at Lake Haven is available through SmileFund and Afterpay, allowing you to spread the cost over time. Some costs may also be covered by your private health insurance (check with your provider before booking).
